Statement of Intent
Statement of Intent (Print option): The audience I intend to target with my magazine are politically aware, socially conscious upmarket demographic who are aged 16-25. This demographic will be intrigued by and watch the news daily to update themselves on the current affairs around the world. This demographic will also have high aspirations. They will be working towards a high paid job and some will currently be studying a degree at university or have already got their degree. The demographic will also already be from a financially ‘comfortable’ background and will have family members who have also studied at university in the past. Furthermore, the target audience will listen to podcasts regarding current affairs and which raise awareness to relevant news stories to further their knowledge on the subject.
